Hi there! I’m Penelope.
… well, not really. Penelope is just one of my many alter egos, but more on that later. I am also known as Mom, Mama, or the ever-dramatic Maaaaaa.
My journey into motherhood began in September 2018 when I welcomed my first boy-shaped human via a less-than-magical C-section (ouch). Nineteen months later, I did it again—this time the old-fashioned way (still ouch, but slightly less so). Since then, life’s been a whirlwind of sticky fingers, belly laughs, and the more-than-occasional existential crisis.
By day, I’m a full-time desk warrior. By night (and let’s be honest, most mornings too), I’m wrangling two wild, wonderful boys, trying to be a decent wife, and sometimes remembering that I’m also just a girl with dreams, thoughts, a morbid sense of humor and a serious love for the written word.
These are my stories from the trenches—equal parts chaos, comedy, tears and caffeine.
